Covertà is the second EP by the American hard rock / heavy metal band Adrenaline Mob . It was released on March 8, 2013 via Century Media .
Emergence
At the end of November 2012, the band announced that they wanted to record some cover versions for a re-release of their debut album Omertà . However, these plans were discarded. Instead, an EP with eight cover versions was recorded. These titles include some of the favorite songs of the musicians involved.
Was taken covertà in the Sonic Stomp Studios in New York City , the guitarist Mike Orlando belongs. Covertà was produced by Mike Orlando, singer Russell Allen and drummer Mike Portnoy . The EP was mixed and mastered by Mike Orlando. The song The Mob Rules , originally by Black Sabbath , was released on the self-titled EP in 2011 and not re-recorded for the EP.
Besides this song also was Stand Up and Shout by Dio already in many Adrenaline Mob concerts played. The Highwire by the band Badlands had regularly with his guitarist Mike Orlando instrumental listed rock band Sonic Stomp.

reception
Rusty Rose of the online magazine Examiner described Covertà as an absolute exception to the rule that "most cover albums that have been released in recent years are not worth paying attention to".
