Crazy Dennis Tiger is a German short film that was made in summer 2011 on the occasion of the RBB's 2012 student film series in cooperation with the "Konrad Wolf" University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg. The director was Jan Soldat .
The film was shown at several German and one Pakistani festivals as well as on public television of the RBB.

Dennis is a rather quiet boy and lives in a small town in Brandenburg. It's closed and almost a loner. The guys he shoots around with an air rifle in his spare time are more superficial acquaintances. His only friend is his big brother Philipp, with whom he has a common hobby of wrestling. However, when he is injured at a wrestling event by the aggressive and hated wrestler Eddy the Raptor , Dennis suddenly finds himself alone. He now has to take over all of Philipp's tasks and responsibilities. When he gets to feel his brother's frustration, Dennis swears revenge on Eddy - even if he is more than inferior to the wrestler.

In April 2012 the short film celebrated its internal premiere at Kino International in Berlin.
The film was shown for the first time on German television on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
The film was shot on original locations in the Brandenburg towns of Schildow , Glienicke and Bergfelde . The wrestling club shown in the film is the Eurowrestling Company in Bergfelde.
The two main characters are brothers in real life too, and their family's own home served as the set. Her real father also plays in the film, in short scenes, the father of Dennis and Philipp.
