Uli Plessmann

Uli Pleßmann (born May 15, 1952 in Goslar ) is a German actor , radio play speaker , theater director and singer .

Life

Uli Pleßmann grew up in Frankfurt am Main, passed the Abitur there and studied special education with the subject music. After a teaching position at the school for the physically disabled in the Hessian metropolis, he completed a singing and acting course at the Salzburg Mozarteum from 1979 to 1982 . At the city's National Theater Pleßmann had 1982-1988 a first multi-year commitment, in 1987 he stepped beyond at the Salzburg Festival in. Between 1988 and 1992 he was engaged at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater , after which he was engaged for one season each at the Stadttheater Gießen and the Theater Basel . Pleßmann also played Claudius in William Shakespeare's Hamlet , the servant Just in Minna von Barnhelm by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing and the pupil Wagner in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust . In addition, Pleßmann also works extensively on music theater. Here he was seen as Papageno in Mozart's Magic Flute , as steward Theophil in Paul Lincke's operetta Frau Luna , as manufacturer Giesecke im Weißen Rößl by Ralph Benatzky and in the musicals Der kleine Horrorladen by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman and Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror show .
