Cristofer Kelo (born April 13, 1987 ) is a Mexican ice hockey player who has been with Pumas Distrito Federal since 2013 .

Career

Cristofer Kelo began his career as an ice hockey player with Galerias Reforma . From 2007 to 2011 he played in Fort Myers for the team at Florida Gulf Coast University , which was studying at the time, in the third division of the American Collegiate Hockey Association . After completing his training, he returned to his native Mexico City in 2011 and played in the semi-professional Liga Mexicana Elite for the Mayan Astronomers, which had been founded the year before . From there he moved to Pumas Distrito Federal in 2013 , for which he has been on the ice ever since.

International

In the junior division, Kelo played with the Mexican selection at the U18 World Championships in Division III in 2003 and 2004 and in Division II in 2005 and in the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2004 and 2005 and in Division II in 2006 and 2007 .

With the men's national team , Kelo took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2010 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 and 2017 . He was also on the ice during the Olympic qualification for the Games in Sochi 2014 , when the Mexican team was eliminated in the pre-qualification.
