DFP-Music
DFP-Music International was a Swiss music label that existed from 1985 to 2006 and was then sold to an unknown major company. A little later the name disappeared from the market, except for a few products. The brand name has been in the possession of the company founder again for some time.
history
The label was founded in 1985 by the Swiss Reto Winter , then under the name Dancefloor Productions . Initially, only products from the dance sector were published. Later, more and more rock and pop products were launched - mostly Swiss performers. Due to this change of direction, the name was changed to the abbreviation DFP-Music . From 1996 many international performers were produced. The best of series of various stars of the 1980s were known, which were thus made available to fans on CD again. The DFP catalog was sold worldwide through sales channels such as POOL Musikvertrieb , Eurostar Vertrieb , Voices Music , Musikvertrieb AG , BMG , Sony Music , H'art Music and others.
