Da muss durch is a German comedy film from 2015. The film is based on the novel Da muss durch by Hans Rath and is the sequel to Mann does was Mann kann (2012). The cinema release was on January 29th in Germany and on January 30th 2015 in Austria.

Paul is haunted by the chaos of relationships, but now the tide seems to be turning: he falls in love with Lena, the daughter of the owner of the publishing house where Paul works as HR manager. Lena's mother, however, is not very fond of him, as he does not seem befitting to her. She would rather reunite Lena with wealthy hedge fund manager Patrick Arterberry. Paul wants to prove that he is the right person with a visit to the luxury family estate in Mallorca. When Lena learns that she is 12 weeks pregnant, and not Paul but Patrick is the father-to-be, Patrick and Paul meet. Patrick sabotages Paul and discredits him with Lena and her family. Paul receives support from his three best friends Schamski, Günther and Bronko.
realization
Screenwriter and director Marc Rothemund left the production during a dispute. Editing and post-production were completed by the producers Alexander and Stefan Thies, which is why Rothemund withdrew his name and the pseudonym Thomas Lee , which is common in such cases , is used as the director .
criticism
The film service described the film as a “superficial, banal comedy” that whisked you away “into an unreal dream world” and “unabashedly resorted to set pieces from the tabloid theater”, “without adding convincing accents to the love story”.
