Daniel Tavares Baeta Neves (born March 11, 1911 in Conselheiro Lafaiete , Minas Gerais , Brazil , † July 8, 1980 ) was Bishop of Sete Lagoas .

Life

Daniel Tavares Baeta Neves received on 30 November 1935, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 29, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Parnassus and auxiliary bishop in Mariana . The Archbishop of Mariana, Helvécio Gomes de Oliveira SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Valença , Rodolfo das Mercês de Oliveira Pena , and the Bishop of Caratinga , João Batista Cavati CM .

Pope Pius XII appointed him on May 16, 1958 first Bishop of Januária . On June 1, 1962, Pope John XXIII. the resignation put forward by Daniel Tavares Baeta Neves and appointed him titular bishop of Cambysopolis . Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 4, 1964 Bishop of Sete Lagoas.

Daniel Tavares Baeta Neves participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
