For the 2003/04 season, the Swede signed with the Pelicans Lahti , for which he then played for two years in the SM-liiga , the top division of Finland. Widing then signed a two-year contract with HC Davos in the National League A in May 2009 , where he scored a total of 38 scorer points in 51 games this season. In the summer of 2010, his contract was dissolved and Widing moved to Djurgårdens IF , before he returned to his former club Brynäs IF a year later and was there on the ice in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons .
