Daniela Schneeberger (born September 19, 1967 in Liestal ; entitled to live in Thuringia ) is a Swiss politician of the FDP. The Liberals .

education and profession

Daniela Schneeberger graduated from commercial secondary school in Liestal and then worked as an assistant for marketing and management for the Frech brothers in Sissach . From 1992 to 2000 she was the trustee clerk in her parents' company in Thürnen. From 2000 to 2002 she trained as a trustee with a federal certificate and is now the managing director and owner of the Schneeberger Treuhand in Thuringia as well as an officially approved auditor and partner of the Duttweiler Treuhand in Liestal.

Politics and associations

From July 1999 to December 2011 Daniela Schneeberger politicized in the district administrator of the canton of Basel-Landschaft and presided over it from July 2004 to June 2005. Since December 2011 she has been a national councilor ; in December 2015 she became a member of the Commission for Economy and Taxes, of which she is still a member. She is also co-president of the parliamentary group Treuhand. In previous years she was a member of the Finance Commission, the State Political Commission and the Social Security and Health Commission.

Daniela Schneeberger sits on the board of the FDP Switzerland and the FDP parliamentary group, is president of the Verband Treuhand Suisse (Swiss fiduciary association) and vice-president of the Swiss trade association . She presides over the association Patronfonds based in Bern, which works to promote corporate welfare funds for the benefit of employees.

Private

Daniela Schneeberger grew up in a politically active family. Her father Robert Schneeberger was also a district administrator and presided over the Basel canton parliament in 1994/95. Her brother Juerg Schneeberger was a councilor in Frenkendorf; she also has a sister. Daniela Schneeberger lives with her partner in Thürnen.
