Sandra Sollberger-Muff (born October 27, 1973 in Zofingen ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

Life

Sollberger-Muff grew up in Reiden and Zofingen and attended primary and secondary schools there. She completed an apprenticeship as a painter in Oftringen and graduated with distinction in 1992. In 1996 she finished the master school in Olten , Canton Solothurn and passed the exam to become a master painter with success. From 1997 she was responsible for administrative matters at Sollberger Maler AG. In 2002 she became a member of the executive board and from 2008 she also served as a member of the board of directors. She continued to lead courses in basic training for a long time and worked as an examination expert at the specialist examinations for painters.

Since 2014 she has been a member of the Board of Directors at Autobus AG in Liestal.

She has been a member of the Lions Club Wildenstein since 2008 . In 2014/2015 she was president of the club.

Sandra Sollberger-Muff is married and has two children.

Political career

Sollberger-Muff was a councilor in Bubendorf BL from 2008 to the end of June 2016.

Since 2009 she has been part of the party leadership of SVP Baselland.

From July 1, 2011 to November 6, 2015, she was District Administrator of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft and a member of the Building and Planning Commission.

In 2015, Sandra Sollberger was elected to the National Council. As a national councilor, she politicized for SVP Baselland in Bern.

As a national councilor, she is a member of the finance commission and the LPK legislature planning commission.

She has been a member of the Commission for Transport and Telecommunications (KVF) since summer 2019.

In March 2018, Sollberger was elected to the highest management body of SVP Switzerland, the party management committee.

In June 2018 she was elected to the central board at the 110th annual delegates' meeting of the Swiss Association of Painters and Plasterers, SMGV, as the first woman in the association's history.
