Daniil Wladimirowitsch Andrijenko ( Russian Даниил Владимирович Андриенко ; born  October 26, 1989 in Krasnodar ) is a Russian rower .

Career

Andrijenko finished 9th with the Russian eighth at the 2013 World Championships on Lake Tangeum in Chungju ( South Korea ).

In 2012 he failed to qualify for the Summer Olympics in London with Alexander Kulesch , Ivan Podschiwalow and Anton Saruzki when they only finished fourth in the decisive regatta in Lucerne. Later that same season, the team finished fourth at the European Championships in Varese.

On July 8, 2013, he won the gold medal in eighth place at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan .

Andrijenko won the silver medal with the Russian eighth at the 2016 European Championships on the Beetzsee regatta course in Brandenburg an der Havel .

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Podschiwalow , Georgi Jefremenko , Semjon Jaganow and Daniil Andrijenko were initially registered for Russia for the four-man without a helmsman. Podschiwalow was not allowed to start after the publication of the McLaren Report because of a doping offense in 2007. Jaganow and Andrijenko, like 15 other Russian rowers, were not allowed to start because they were not examined in a non-Russian doping test between 2011 and 2016.

At the 2017 European Championships in Račice u Štětí ( Czech Republic ) on the Račice rowing channel , he won the bronze medal in the four-man category. At the European Championships in 2018 , he finished 6th in the eighth place.

Andrijenko won Russian championships several times (2014 and 2015 in the four-man without a helmsman; 2012, 2013, 2016 in the eighth).
