Danny Nucci (born September 15, 1968 in Klagenfurt , Carinthia , Austria ) is an American film actor of Italian origin.

Life

Danny Nucci is the youngest child of a French - Moroccan mother and an Italian father who, although born in Austria, lived in Venice for the first seven years of his life . He has dual citizenship from the USA and Italy.

In 1975 his family moved to the USA, where they initially lived in New York City . Here Nucci attended private schools and after another move to San Fernando Valley, California, the Ulysses S. Grant High School in Van Nuys . It was here that Nucci first discovered his passion for acting after one of his teachers cast him for a theatrical performance of the West Side Story . Shortly afterwards, he took part in a charitable telethon and was seen on television for the first time. It was here that Nucci met his future manager, Bob Villard.

In 1982, 14-year-old Nucci played an extra role in General Hospital and then began an acting career. Initially dependent on small television roles, he was also hired for feature films at the beginning of the 1990s. Nucci reached its peak in 1997 with a supporting role as Fabrizio in Titanic , James Cameron's film , which won eleven Academy Awards .

Danny Nucci has been married twice so far. From his three-year marriage to Terre Bridgham, with whom he was married between 1995 and 1998, a daughter was born in October 1996. Nucci has been married to the actress Paula Marshall since October 12, 2003 , with whom he also appeared in several films. Both became parents of a daughter in March 2005.
