Dany Roussin (born January 9, 1985 in Québec , Québec ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with the Marquis de Jonquière from the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey .

Career

The 1.88 m tall center first played in the Canadian junior league QMJHL , where he was on the ice between 2001 and 2005 for the Castors de Sherbrooke and L'Océanic de Rimouski . In the NHL Entry Draft 2003 , the Florida Panthers secured the rights to the Canadian in the seventh round, without giving him a contract in the following period. Thus, Roussin was again given the opportunity to be drafted , which finally happened by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft . The Californians used the left-handed shooter most of the time with their Reading Royals farm team in the ECHL , and the Canadian also received some missions with other cooperation partner Manchester Monarchs in the higher-class AHL .

About the ECHL team Bakersfield Condors Dany Roussin moved in the 2008/09 season in the French Ligue Magnus , where he played for the Diables Rouges de Briançon . In the summer of 2009, the Heilbronner Falken from the 2nd Bundesliga provided him with a trial contract initially limited to two months. For this, however, the Canadian never played a league game and then returned to North America. Roussin received a contract with Cool FM 103.5 de Saint-Georges in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey . For this he was active until 2014, then Roussin let his career end with the league competitor Marquis de Jonquière .
