Kangding

Kangding ( Tibetan : དར་ རྩེ་ མདོ ། , transcription after Wylie : dar rtse mdo ; Chinese  康定 市 , Pinyin Kāngdìng Shì ), also known as Dartsedo , Darzêdo and Dardo , is an independent city in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous District in the northwest of the chinese province of sichuan . Its seat of government is the large municipality of Lucheng (Lúchéng 炉 城镇).

The newly built Kangding Airport started operations in May 2008.
