Tomcat Thunder is abandoned by his owners. When a storm approaches, he looks for shelter in an old villa. Here he meets the old magician Lawrence, who lives alone with his electronic devices, which he has brought to life, the mouse Maggie and the rabbit Jack. While Lawrence Thunder takes a close look at Thunder, the mouse and rabbit are suspicious and hostile towards him. On their way back from a magic show at the hospital, Jack and Maggie Thunder pestered Thunder out of the magic box, whereupon Lawrence falls on his bike and has to be hospitalized with injuries. The animals and electrical appliances are then left to their own devices in the villa, while Lawrence is deceived by his fraudulent nephew Daniel and signs a power of attorney to sell the house. Together, the animals fend off several prospective buyers and rely on Thunder's help, as Daniel is allergic to cats. When he loses control of the situation in the house, he tries to tear it down. Lawrence can escape from the hospital in time and with his animal and electric friends prevent the demolition. The mouse Maggie realizes that she was wrong about Thunder and makes friends with him.
