Dave H. Tomlinson (born May 8, 1969 in North Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs , Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers and in the German Ice Hockey League especially for the Adler Mannheim played.

Player career

The 1.78 m tall center began his career on the Boston University team in the NCAA game operations before he was selected ( drafted ) in the 1989 NHL Supplemental Draft as third in the first round of the Maple Leafs .

In 1991/92 the left-shooter first played for the Toronto farm team St. John's Maple Leafs in the American Hockey League , but in his first season he also made his first NHL appearances. In the following years Tomlinson commuted again and again between the NHL franchises and their farm teams in the lower tier leagues, which did not change with his move to the Winnipeg Jets and later with the Florida Panthers, so that the Canadian went to Germany for the 1996/97 season changed.

Tomlinson was on the ice for Adler Mannheim for six years and won the German championship four times - in 1997 , 1998 , 1999 and 2001 . He is the player with the fourth-most scorer points (302), the fourth-most goals (119) and fourth-most assists (183) of the eagles since its existence in the DEL (as of September 2018). In 2002 Tomlinson moved to the Nürnberg Ice Tigers , further DEL positions up to his move to Switzerland, where he ended his career at EV Zug in 2006 , were the Hamburg Freezers and the Krefeld Pinguine .
