David Pavelka (born May 18, 1991 in Prague ) is a Czech football player .

Career

societies

Pavelka began his professional career in 2011 at Sparta Prague and played here until the summer of 2013. During this time he was loaned to 1. FC Slovácko for the 2011/12 season. In 2013 he moved on to Slovan Liberec .

For the second half of the 2015/16 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Kasımpaşa Istanbul .

National team

Pavelka started his national team career in 2012 with a commitment for the Czech U-21 national team .

In September 2015, he made his debut for the Czech national team during a friendly against Kazakhstan .

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Czech squad . In the first game against Spain he made his first appearance in the tournament in the last few minutes. In the decisive third game against Turkey he was on the starting line-up, but was already substituted before the last third of the game when the team were 1-0 down. The game was lost and the Czech Republic was eliminated from the tournament.
