Loret Sadiku (born July 28, 1991 in Pristina , Kosovo ) is a Swedish - Kosovar football player . The defender, who was born in Kosovo in what was then Yugoslavia , has not only Swedish but also Kosovar and Albanian citizenship.

Career

society

Sadiku went through the youth departments of Hånger IF and IFK Värnamo since 2002 and made it into the professional team in 2009. After playing here for three years, he moved to Helsingborgs IF in 2012 .

For the 2014/15 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to the South Turkish Central Anatolian representative Mersin İdman Yurdu .

After Mersin İY failed to stay up in the Süper Lig in summer 2016, Sadiku switched to league rivals Kasımpaşa Istanbul on the last day of the 2016 summer transfer period .

National team

Sadiku began his national team career in 2012 playing for the Swedish U-21 national team.

In 2013 he accepted the offer of the Albanian national team , but only sat on the substitute bench for the corresponding nomination. Sadiku has been playing for the Kosovar national soccer team since 2014 .
