Ded is an American nu metal band from Tempe , Arizona . She is under contract with the Suretone label .
history
The band was formed by members of the band Greeley Estates and former band members of the band Man Made Machine in Tempe . The band released their debut single FMFY in December 2016. A music video was also released for the song. The second single Anti-Everything was released in February 2017 . The band then toured in the opening act for Korn . Further tours with Asking Alexandria , Insane Clown Posse and Every Time I Die follow.
On July 14th, 2017 their first album Mis • an • thrope was released. The producer was John Feldmann . The album reached chart positions in the Billboard special charts US Independent Albums , US Heatseekers Albums and US Top Album Sales . The band played at Knotfest and Rock on the Range in 2017 . In 2018 there was an appearance on the Full Force .
Music genre
Ded play a crossover mix that was typical of Nu Metal in the 2000s. The music oscillates between heavier metal tracks and more melodic passages. The music and songwriting are reminiscent of Slipknot , Korn, Five Finger Death Punch , Emil Bulls , The Fever 333 and Three Days Grace .
