Dehausen is a district of the city of Diemelstadt in the north Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg .

Geographical location

The cluster village is located in the south of the Diemelstadt community. From Dehausen the Welda drains the Rhoder valley south to the Twiste . State road 3081 runs on the outskirts .

history

The village is first mentioned at the beginning of the 10th century when the Corvey monastery had possessions in the village.

On December 31, 1970 Dehausen was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the city Diemelstadt incorporated .

Attractions

  • In Dehausen there are Celtic burial mounds .
  • The Waldeck District Air Sports Association has had its training center there since 1985. It is a glider airfield with a grass runway of 800 meters in length and the orientation 16/34. Gliders , motor gliders , motorized towing machines and microlight aircraft are allowed to take off and land there.
