Denise Darcel

Denise Darcel (born September 8, 1924 in Paris , † December 23, 2011 in Los Angeles , California ; actually: Denise Billecard ) was an American actress .

Life

In 1947 she came to the USA, a year later she made her film debut in To the Victor . Leading roles soon followed alongside big stars, such as in 1951 alongside Robert Taylor in Caravan of Women and in 1954 as partner of Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster in the western Vera Cruz . After only a few films and appearances in a few TV productions, the artist retired into private life in 1963.

Denise Darcel was temporarily married to Richard Vance and Peter Crosby .
