A second-rate film producer, Bruno Bonomo (“do-gooder”), who made trash films with his wife in the 1970s, is in a difficult situation both professionally and personally. Both his production company and his marriage are on the brink of failure. His only salvation seems to come from a young director who wants to make a film called Il Caimano , which tells the life story of Silvio Berlusconi .
