Design by Ulf was a Swedish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Ulf Bolumlid founded the company in Falköping in 1987 and began producing automobiles in 1992. The brand name was Ulf . Production ended in 2005 or shortly thereafter. A total of about 50 copies were made.

vehicles

The company manufactured kit cars and kits for kit cars. The first model was the Mania Spyder , an open two-seater. The platform frame of the VW Beetle could be used as the chassis . In this case the engine was mounted in the stern. The alternative was a tubular frame designed for mid-engine construction. Production of the Mania Spyder ended in 2001 .

The Sensor super sports car followed in 2001 , also with a mid-engine. In the prototype came a V6 engine of Alfa Romeo used. In the later series models, V8 engines from Rover or Chevrolet provided the drive. In 2005 the production of the sensor ended .

Also, there were the models Streamster , Archer and Speed King . These were vehicles with tubular space frames, aluminum bodies and twelve-cylinder engines from Jaguar .
