Erik Roland Lindström was a Swedish manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The car mechanic Erik Roland Lindström, who was planning to design his own motor vehicles in Gothenburg as early as the 1930s , founded the company that bore his name in Mölndal in 1948 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was ERL . In 1951, production ended after nine copies had been made.

Lindström made light, open two-seaters. In the prototype came a motorcycle engine from Douglas engine with 30 hp power used. The production vehicles possessed a two-cylinder engine of DKW with 600 cc capacity and 14.5 hp. These engines were originally stationary engines and were modified for car operation. The maximum speed was given as 100 km / h.
