Self (make of car)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Self was a Swedish car brand owned by the brothers Per and Hugo Weiertz from Svedala . They manufactured three cycle cars in 1916, 1919 and 1922 . They had already gained experience in automobile construction in 1910 with the Weiertz brand .

The first car had a single cylinder engine , the second a four cylinder engine from Phenomenon and the third a V2 engine from Harley-Davidson . The cars were prototypes that were still offered. The experience thus acquired could use the brothers when they work with the AB Thulinverken began and in the development of Thulin B were involved.
