Esther Chassieteknik was a Swedish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Lars Svensson and Magnus Haferbier were enthusiastic about sports cars. In 1987 they started producing a vehicle. In July 1988 it was ready. The company was based in Ugglerum near Kalmar . A total of around 45 vehicles were built. The last saved version of the company's website is from May 30, 2013. According to a source, production also ended that year.

Manufactured kit cars . The vehicles were similar to the Lotus Seven and were also used in car races. The first vehicle received an Audi engine with 200 hp and a Ford transmission . Afterwards engines from Alfa Romeo , Ford, Opel , Volvo and VW provided the drive. On the rear axle, a De-Dion axle or a rigid axle could be used.
