Norden was a Swedish car brand.

Company history

The company AB Södertälje Verkstäder from Södertälje already manufactured railway wagons and imported vehicles from Ducommun , Kühlstein , NAG and Protos . 1902 began the production of automobiles under the brand name Norden . Production ended in 1905 and the last vehicles were sold in 1906. In 1905, three vehicles of this brand were registered in Stockholm . The total production was about ten vehicles. The same company used to manufacture Helios vehicles.

Two vehicles still exist.

The only model was a license production of the American " Silent Northern " of the Northern Manufacturing Company in Detroit . Two-seaters and four-seaters in the Dos-à-Dos body shape were on offer . The single-cylinder engine initially developed 5 hp , from 1904 6.5 hp.
