Diego Occhiuzzi

Diego Occhiuzzi (born April 30, 1981 in Naples ) is a former Italian saber fencer .

Diego Occhiuzzi achieved numerous successes, especially with the team. At world championships he won with her after third places in 2007 in St. Petersburg and 2011 in Catania as well as second places in 2009 in Antalya and 2010 in Paris the title at the world championship in 2015 in Moscow . In 2009 , 2010 , 2011 , 2013 and 2014 he was also European champion with the team , followed by second places in 2015 and 2016 . He took part in three Olympic Games . In 2008 in Beijing he finished 23rd in the individual, with the team he won the bronze medal after a final 45:44 win against Russia .
