Dieter Reible

Dieter Reinhold Reible (born June 24, 1929 in Berlin ; † December 4, 2014 in Czernichów ) was a German director .

Towards the end of the 1960s, Reible campaigned for socialist street theater in Frankfurt . In 1969 he fought at the side of Claus Peymann and Peter Stein - also in Frankfurt - for participation in acting .

Reible has worked as a director at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt , the Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Theater am Goetheplatz Bremen, the Staatstheater Kassel , the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich , in Berlin and several times in South Africa . He worked as acting director at the Wuppertal theaters , at the Kiel Theater and from 1994 to 1998 at the Bielefeld Theater .

Reible was married to Beatrice Maurer.

Dieter Reible's remains were buried in Wuppertal .
