Dietrich Alexander Möller

Dietrich Alexander Möller , also: Dietrich A. Möller , (born September 20, 1944 in Gransee ; † April 28, 2019 ) was a German architect . Since 1993 he has been professor for building economics and computer-aided design at the Technical University of Dresden .

Life

Dietrich Alexander Möller grew up in Hanover and studied architecture at the TU Berlin and the TU Braunschweig . After completing his diploma thesis with Walter Henn , he worked both in his office and at the chair for industrial construction. In Braunschweig he completed a degree in industrial engineering and was awarded a Dr. rer. pol is doing his PhD . He then worked for five years in Hans-Ulrich Riethmüller's office as an operations planner and consultant for hospital construction measures.

In 1981, Dietrich Alexander Moller received a reputation as a Full Professor of Construction Management and Economics and Construction Management at the Comprehensive University of Wuppertal . In 1983 he followed a call to the University of Karlsruhe (TH) , where he set up the department of planning and building economics and established the building economics training in this area. Together with Fritz Haller , Möller was particularly committed to the new field of data processing . After a visiting professorship in 1990 at the TU Dresden, he followed a call from the TU Dresden in 1993 to the new chair for building economics and computer-aided design.

Together with Wolfdietrich Kalusche, Dietrich Alexander Möller was the publisher and author of the specialist book series “Bauen und Ökonomie”.
