Dmitri Evgenjewitsch Lugin ( Russian Дмитрий Евгеньевич Лугин ; born April 1, 1990 in Khabarovsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vitjas from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since August 2020 and has been on the position of right winger plays.
Career
Dmitri Lugin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Amur Khabarovsk . From there he moved to the youth department of the capital club HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the super league in the 2007/08 season . He scored one goal in three games. He had previously played for Dynamo Moscow's second team in the third-rate Pervaya League since 2006 . The 2008/09 season spent the winger at Owatonna Express in the North American Junior League North American Hockey League . For the 2009/10 season he returned to Dynamo Moscow, for whose junior team MHK Dynamo he ran up this season in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .
For the 2010/11 season Lugin was obliged by his hometown club Amur Khabarovsk. For this he played two games in the Continental Hockey League , while he spent the entire remaining season as a regular player with the junior team of Amur in the MHL. In the following three years he established himself as a regular at Amur and was appointed assistant captain for the 2014/15 season. He also increased his points yield from year to year, so that he came to 27 points scorer in the 2014/15 season.
In June 2015, Lugin was sold to Admiral Vladivostok as part of a swap deal that included a total of twelve players and two transfer rights. The winger was under contract with Lokomotive Yaroslavl from December 2016 , before playing at HK Sochi from December 2017 until the end of the 2019/20 season. In August 2020 Lugin received a trial contract with HK Vitjas .
