Igor Michailowitsch Golowkow ( Russian Игорь Михайлович Головков ; born May 17, 1990 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Vityas Chekhov in the Continental Hockey League since August 2011 .

Career

Igor Golovkow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the super league in the 2007/08 season . He remained pointless and punished in six games. The 2008/09 season began the defender with the Voltigeurs de Drummondville in the Canadian Junior League QMJHL . After only five missions, however, he returned to Dynamo Moscow, for which he was on the ice in nine games in the newly founded Continental Hockey League by the end of the season.

After Golowkow in the 2009/10 season aground in 34 games for Dynamo Moscow and first complete game time spent with the first team, he moved to the following season for SKA Saint Petersburg , but was only at HK WMF Saint Petersburg in the Supreme Hockey League used .

Golowkow has been under contract with Vitjas Chekhov since August 2011 .

International

For Russia , Golowkow took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2008 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2009 . In both tournaments he and his team won a medal, first the silver medal at the U18 World Cup and then the bronze medal at the U20 World Cup.
