Yevgeny Vladimirovich Mons ( Russian Евгений Владимирович Монс ; born March 23, 1989 in Tscherepowez , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vitjas Podolsk in the Continental Hockey League since 2018 .

Yevgeny Mons began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of Severstal Cherepovets , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2005 to 2009 . In the 2007/08 season he made his debut as a loan player for the professional team of Kapitan Stupino in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. In addition, the winger ran in the 2008/09 season in five games for the professional team of Severstal Tscherepowez in the newly founded Continental Hockey League and scored one goal. However, he spent most of the season and the entire following season at the second division club HK Lipetsk .

For the 2010/11 season , Mons returned to Severstal Tscherepowez and played parallel for his professional team in the KHL and his junior team Almas Tscherepowez in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .
