In 1945 and 1946, the Sudeten German residents were expelled as a result of the Beneš decrees . Due to the proximity to the Iron Curtain , there was little immigration due to the border zones. The meadow landscape, parts of the mountain and the place itself were placed under protection from 1989 to 1995. In 2011 Dobrá had only 12 permanent residents, out of 24 houses.
