Dominik Walsh (born July 18, 1989 in Guildford , England ) is a British - German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL2 since 2013 .
Career
Walsh, who started his career in the youth team of EV Landshut and moved to Kassel in the summer of 2006, played his first professional game for the Kassel Huskies during the 2006/07 season . In the same season, the winger was able to reach the play-off final with the Huskies. There the club failed with 3-0 defeats to Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg and thus remained in the 2nd Bundesliga . The left shooter completed a total of 59 league games and scored a scorer point .
In the following season Walsh completed 14 games for the Blue Devils Weiden , before he again played 22 games for the Kassel team in the same season. For the 2008/09 season , the Briton signed a contract with Eisbären Juniors Berlin from the Oberliga Nord . The then 20-year-old played 49 games there and scored 15 times. Due to the performance shown, those responsible at the ERC Ingolstadt became aware of the native Englishman and in summer 2009 provided him with a contract for the 2009/10 season . In parallel to playing with Bayern, he also played 14 games for the Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga in his first DEL season . Since the 2010/11 season , the striker has also been given a license for the second division Landshut Cannibals . In the 2011/2012 season Walsh was on the ice for the Schwenninger Wild Wings .
On April 13, 2012, Walsh signed a contract with the Heilbronner Falken, before moving to the Ice Pirates Crimmitschau for the 2013/14 season.
