Vincent Schlenker (born December 17, 1992 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL2 since 2016 . Previously, he had been used by the Eispiraten with a mining license.

Career

Vincent Schlenker began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the Schwenninger ERC . From there he moved to the Eisbären Juniors Berlin , for which he was active in the German Junior League from 2007 to 2011 . At the same time he played from 2009 to 2011 for FASS Berlin in the fourth-class ice hockey regional league and the third-class ice hockey league . In the 2011/12 season , the winger made his debut for Eisbären Berlin from the German Ice Hockey League . With the Eisbären he became German champion straight away in his rookie year . He contributed to this success with three goals and two assists in a total of 36 games. At the same time, he was still on the ice as a loan player for FASS Berlin in the major league.

In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons he received a support license for the Dresden Ice Lions from the DEL2 . After an injury break of 8 months in 2014, he was used almost exclusively for the Dresdner Eislöwen in the 2nd ice hockey league for the rest of the 2014/15 season .

After the Eisbären did not renew his contract at the end of the 2014/15 season , Vincent Schlenker switched to league competitor Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg for the new season , where he is also eligible to play as a promotional licensed player for their DEL2 cooperation partner, the Eispiraten Crimmitschau .

International

For Germany , Schlenker took part in the U18 Junior B World Championship in 2010 , where he and his team were promoted to the top division.
