André Schietzold (born January 11, 1987 in Werdau , GDR ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing in the 2nd Bundesliga for the Eispiraten Crimmitschau since January 2010 .

Career

Schietzold's ice hockey career began in the junior division of the ETC Crimmitschau , before Mannheim played for young eagles in 2002. By 2005 he scored 61 goals and 64 assists in 105 games and was the top scorer in the German junior league with 40 goals in the 2004/05 season . In this season Schietzold also made the leap into the professional team of Adler Mannheim , for which he was on the ice four times, the left-handed shooter was also used in the Baden-Württemberg League for the Mannheim ERC and with a mining license for the Heilbronner Falken . In the 2005/06 seasonhe scored 34 goals in 45 games for the Falcons. André Schietzolds also played in various youth national teams (7 goals, 9 assists in 22 games).

In 2007 Schietzold moved to the Düsseldorf DEL association DEG Metro Stars , his license to support the Heilbronner EC remained for the time being. In November 2008, the Düsseldorf team dissolved the contract with the attacker , whereupon he permanently switched to the Heilbronner Falken.

In January 2010, Schietzold returned to his hometown club.
