Donna Phelan (born June 8, 1972 ) is a former Canadian triathlete .
Career
Donna Phelan was active in swimming as a teenager.
In April 2000 she was second in her age group at the Triathlon World Championship (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) in Perth (Australia) and since that year she started as a professional.
In 2002 she was third in the Wildflower Triathlon .
Donna Phelan lives in St. John's, Newfoundland and started for Team TBB . Her nickname is "Diesel Donna". She was trained by the British Julie Dibens .
Since 2015 Donna Phelan no longer appears internationally.
