Doomed from Day One is a deathcore band from Guildford, England, founded in 2010 .

history

In 2010 the five musicians Jamie Elsey (drums), Eifion Sweet (bass), Charlie Frederick (guitar), Charlie Griffiths (guitar) and Sean Scott (vocals) formed the band. On April 25, 2011 the EP The Wasted World was released , which was published by many magazines worldwide, including the Metal Hammer , Kerrang! , Rock Sound , Dead Press and various other magazines. Andy Hayball, among others, worked on this EP, who contributed to the 2010 album Bring Me the Horizon ( There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret ). It was recorded at The Ranch . A second edition of the EP was released on November 14, 2011.

At the Guilfest, a three-day festival, the group played on Sundays on the Surrey Advertiser Stage. Well-known groups and singers who performed in the same year are James Blunt , Pendulum (DJ Set), Gallows , Funeral for a Friend , Skindred and Razorlight . The group already played with Annotations of an Autopsy , Ingested , Malefice and Silent Screams . In January 2012 the group played 7 concerts in Great Britain, including London, Southampton and Winchester .

In September 2013, the group signed a contract with the record company Ghost Music , which also includes Silent Screams . The group announced the release of another EP. This is called Nine Fingers and was officially released on October 21, 2013. There has been no sign of life from the band since 2015.

The style of music is influenced by bands like The Black Dahlia Murder , Despised Icon , Parkway Drive , Between the Buried and Me and The Faceless .
