The Dreikönigenviertel is the statistical district 02 of the city of Neuss , which connects to the city center to the south. Its area is 1.10 km². It takes its name from the Catholic Dreikönigenkirche , built from 1909.

geography

In the north, the quarter is bounded by the northern canal built in the time of Napoleon . This flows into the Obererft , which delimits the district from the Augustinusviertel to the east. To the south is the Pomona district and to the west the stadium district . Attractions include the botanical garden of the city of Neuss and the Obererft.

population

On January 1, 2008, 7,048 inhabitants were registered in this district, on January 1, 2013 there were 6,965 inhabitants. At this count there were 567 children under 10 years of age and 1,497 people aged 65 years and over; the proportion of people with non-German citizenship is 12.7%.
