Duck sauce
Duck Sauce is a joint music project by the two DJs Armand Van Helden and A-Trak . It was founded in New York in 2009 .
Career
They had their first hit in 2009 with aNYway , which became a top 40 hit in several European countries. In 2010, the piece named after the American singer Barbra Streisand followed . It uses the song "Gotta Go Home" by Boney M. as a sample , which in turn is based on the song "Hallo Bimmelbahn" by Nighttrain . The hookline was composed by the night train guitarist Heinz Huth . The Boney-M version was produced by German producer and singer Frank Farian and the night train version by Michael Holm . Duck Sauce thus achieved first place in Austria , Switzerland and Belgium ( Flanders and Wallonia ) and third place in Great Britain and Germany . The duo is also successful in Australia and New Zealand . In 2014 the album "Quack" was released.

Armand Van Helden
Armand Van Helden was born in Boston on February 16, 1970 . His father was Dutch of Indonesian descent and his mother was of French and Lebanese descent. Due to his father's occupation with the US Air Force , Van Helden traveled around the world as a child and lived for a long time in the Netherlands , Turkey and Italy . At the age of 13 he bought a drum machine and two years later he started his career as a DJ. A remix of Deep Creed's Stay on My Mind became its first release. In 1992 the record Move It to the Left was released on the Strictly Rhythm label under the name Sultans of Swing .
A-Trak
A-Trak was on the 30th March 1982 in Montreal ( Canada ) and Alain Macklovitch born. At the age of 13 he bought his first turntables and his first mixer . He made a name for himself on the international stage early on and became the youngest DMC World Champion as one of the first Canadian DJs . At the age of 18, Alain already had five world titles and went on tour with Kanye West in 2004 . The latest development was the establishment of the label Fools Gold , known with The Cool Kids , Kid Sister , Chromeo , Crookers or Kid Cudi .
