Duderstadt (music project)
Duderstadt is a German trance project consisting of the brothers Dirk Duderstadt (* 1977) and Marco Duderstadt (* 1979). The two brothers produce progressive house under the pseudonym Inpetto .
history
The two brothers Dirk and Marco Duderstadt had their first musical success with the dance music project Fragma , which they founded in 1998. Their first single "Toca Me" reached number 11 in the British single charts in 1999, their second single Toca's Miracle even number 1. Overall, with this project they reached the top 5 of the UK charts 3 times, received several gold records and sold almost 2 million records .
In 2000, the duo started a trance project under their surname. After a few remixes for their own project Fragma, their first single, Sunrise , followed in 2003 under the pseudonym Duderstadt. The singles Mahananda , Muhanjala and Smile with the voice of Anita Kelsey followed . Smile was voted “Future Favorite” in Armin van Buuren's radio show A State of Trance and twice “Web Vote Winner” in Above & Beyond's show Trance Around the World . Her single Beatitude with the voice of Kirsty Hawkshaw was also very successful . Due to the successful singles, they were soon also in demand as remixers and did this for well-known acts and DJs such as Armin van Buuren , Ferry Corsten , Cosmic Gate and Above & Beyond. By the beginning of 2012 they had produced 10 singles and 36 remixes in the trance and progressive house area .
They have also been working as DJs since 1993 and have appeared in the United States, Indonesia, China, Russia, the Netherlands and played at various Vandit Nights by Paul van Dyk . At Nature One 2008 they played on the main stage, alongside Tiësto , Ferry Corsten , ATB and Judge Jules , among others . In April 2009 they also played at the A State of Trance 400 anniversary party alongside Armin van Buuren , Gareth Emery and Roger Shah . Since 2007 the two have also had their own radio show called Electronic Eavesdropping , which is broadcast monthly on various Internet radio stations such as Afterhours.FM .
