Arnhem – Veenendaal Classic
The Arnhem – Veenendaal Classic (until 2006 still Veenendaal – Veenendaal ; 2007–2013 Dutch Food Valley Classic ) is a Dutch one-day race for cyclists with start and finish in Veenendaal and Arnhem .
The race, which was held for the first time in 1985, largely leads through the largest contiguous forest area in the Netherlands , the Veluwe . The highlights of the race include the Emma Pyramide (Posberg) and the Grebbeberg. Since 2005, the competition is part of the UCI Europe Tour and was first in the category classed 1.HC. Since 2011 it belongs to category 1.1.
