history

In 1742 the place with most of Silesia came to Prussia. The place was mentioned as Dzielna in 1783 in the book Additions to the Description of Silesia and belonged to a Herr von Poser and was in the Lublinitz district (Lublinetz) of the Principality of Opole . At that time he had a manorial farm, nine farmers, seven gardeners and cottagers and 107 residents. In 1865 Dzielna had five farmers, three outdoor gardeners, four robot jobs and five cottager jobs. In addition to agriculture, some of the residents went to work in the nearby mines and smelting works. The residents were parishioners after Guttentag and schooled after Gwosdzian.

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 47 eligible voters voted for Upper Silesia to remain with Germany and 38 for membership in Poland. After the division of Upper Silesia, Dzielna remained with the German Empire . In 1936 the place was renamed Grenzingen in the course of a wave of renaming during the Nazi era . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Loben (meanwhile in the district of Guttentag ).

In 1945 the previously German town came under Polish administration and was then attached to the Silesian Voivodeship and renamed the Polish Dzielna . In 1950 the place came to the Katowice Voivodeship . In 1975 the place came to the newly founded Voivodeship Czestochowa . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Lubliniecki and to the new Silesian Voivodeship.
