The municipality Ciasna (German Cziasnau ) is a rural municipality in the powiat Lubliniecki (district Lublinitz) in the Silesian Voivodeship . The municipality seat is Ciasna (Cziasnau). From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was in the Czestochowa Voivodeship .

In 2002 the community had 8,092 inhabitants. In addition to the Polish population, a total of 1219 people (15.1%) stated German nationality (ethnicity) in the 2002 census, of which 1187 (14.7%) had Polish citizenship and 362 people were Silesian (4.8%). 911 people (11.3%) (with Polish citizenship) spoke German in their private lives.
