East Drive is a power trio or guitar trio whose repertoire is a mixture of modern jazz and fusion .

East Drive regularly plays at well-known festivals and in renowned jazz clubs, mainly in Germany. The trio has invited prominent guest musicians from the German jazz scene, such as jazz pianist Pablo Held , singer and pianist Olivia Trummer , pianist Kristjan Randalu from Estonia and jazz pianist Vadim Neselovskyi, who lives in New York City . In addition, the band has a long-standing friendship with the Ukrainian singer Tamara Lukasheva , who can be heard as a regular guest on two albums and in many concerts. In 2017, East Drive played a concert with saxophonist Bill Evans at the first edition of the Jazzia jazz festival during Expo 2017 in Astana . Cross-genre ideas meet open ears at East Drive; The trio played several concerts with Mr. Shirazy, who combines electronic loops, grooves and melodies with the traditional and the familiar with his self-made instrument.
