Eberhard Göschel
Eberhard Göschel (born March 28, 1943 in Bubenreuth ) is a German painter , graphic artist and sculptor .
Life
Eberhard Göschel was born in Bubenreuth in 1943, the same year the family moved to Königstein (Saxon Switzerland) . From 1949 to 1961 he attended school, graduated from high school and began an apprenticeship in commercial applications in Pirna . He experienced the construction of the wall from West Berlin. He studied painting at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts from 1964 to 1969, Herbert Kunze was an important teacher. He has been working freelance since his studies. He is friends with the painters Peter Herrmann , Peter Graf and Ralf Winkler (A. R. Penck) . From 1974 to 1978 he headed the working group Leonhardi-Museum Dresden and graduated in 1980 as a master class student at the Academy of Arts of the GDR under Theo Balden . Then he moved into a studio on Pariser Platz .
Eberhard Göschel was a member of the German Association of Artists . He lives and works in Dresden and Fürstenau .

In 1978 he founded the Obergrabenpresse in Dresden with Peter Herrmann , Jochen Lorenz , Bernhard Theilmann and Ralf Winkler . At the beginning of the 1980s he began to do plastic work and toured Italy. Together with the percussionist Günter “Baby” Sommer he made art performances. After sculpting in the Muckwar brickworks with the ceramist André von Martens in 1990, he first worked with porcelain in 1991. The following year he traveled to India with Max Uhlig , Michael Freudenberg and the dancer Sonja Zimmermann . The performance "Alles Jute" was carried out at Arts-Acre.
He has been a member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts since the 1990s . In 2006 he began his first work in the Meissen porcelain factory .
