God of honor Ulrich Warnekros , also Timotheus Ulrich Warnekros , (born May 11, 1779 in Greifswald ; † January 17, 1830 ibid) was a German physician and city ​​physicist from Greifswald.

Life

The son of the lawyer David Wilhelm Warnekros attended the Greifswald city school and from 1796 to 1805 the universities in Jena , Vienna , Munich , Tübingen , Paris , Göttingen and Berlin . His promotion to Doctor of Medicine took place in 1803 at the University of Jena . After returning home in 1806, he worked as a doctor and private lecturer. 1807 adjunct and was from 1813 to 1819 associate professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Greifswald . During this time he wrote several essays on obstetrics . Since 1807 he was assessor at the royal health college and second doctor of the state hospital. In 1810 he became the overseer of the anatomical theater and the veterinary institution . He was appointed city physician and director and first doctor of the state hospital in 1818.

The god of honor Ulrich Warnekros was married to Carolina, the daughter of the theologian Theophilus Coelestinus Piper , and had five children with her. His extensive collection of copper engravings was auctioned in 1831.
