Ehringsfeld is a part of the municipality of Ursensollen in the Upper Palatinate district of Amberg-Sulzbach .

geography

The village is located in the eastern Franconian Jura , ten kilometers west of Amberg at an altitude of 478  m above sea level. NN . The only temporary water-bearing Hausener Bach runs north of the old town .

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Ehringsfeld in the 1810s as a hamlet with five hearths and five small ponds .

In the course of the municipal reform in Bavaria , the place was reclassified from Markt Kastl to the municipality of Ursensollen on July 1, 1972 .

The Catholic Church of St. Florian dates from the second half of the 18th century and is a listed building . The bishop from Eichstätt visited there in 2001 and gave a sermon. The church belongs to the diocese of Eichstätt , Dean's office Kastl .

Infrastructure

In 1998, according to official statistics, there were three full-time agricultural companies in the field of agriculture and forestry as well as a few other part-time farmers and foresters. 320 hectares of arable and forest land are currently cultivated.
