Eichstätt is a wasteland in the Markt Pfeffenhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut in Germany .
location
The wasteland is located in the middle of the Hallertau hop-growing area three kilometers southwest of Pfeffenhausen.
history
The facility already existed in 1520 as a farm yard for Ebersberg Monastery . In the middle of the 18th century , the St. Sebastiansstift von Ebersberg was their owner. The name of the homestead at that time was "Weinzierl", which may indicate that wine was grown here before the hops. Eichstätt has 50 hectares (ha) of its own land, of which 45 hectares are arable land and five hectares are forest. 7.2 hectares are covered by hop gardens. As a market fruit company , Eichstätt is already one of the large hop-growing companies.
In 1860 17 people lived in the wasteland, in 1970 eight people.
chapel
In Eichstätt there is a small late Gothic church consecrated to St. Blasius , which was built as a branch church of Oberhatzkofen in the second half of the 15th century . Your bare brick building is a good example of the Landshut brick Gothic .
